Since we both liked Nha Trang very much and Steve was into taking Kite Surf lessons... right by the private Novotel Beach, we we thanked my friend Mehdi and checked out of the Diamond Bay Resort, and moved down town Nha Trang, into a Deluxe Room with ocean view!!
Huge plus for the Novotel; they have Macintosh set out in their lobby for guests to use, hence the little movie of our bungalow. I also made one to make you all jealous of our ocean view from the bath tub, but now I'm back on Windows and as always very lost trying to figure out how to use them, so the video from our Novotel room will have to wait, sorry about that.
Anyhow, anyone going to Nha Trang, I would highly recommend the Novotel... depending on what you wish to get out of your stay there, Novotel is very well situated and has, so far, the best service I've experienced in Vietnam. The staff is polite, well trained and very pleasant to deal with, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and more bathroom products then I've ever seen before!!
The Diamond Bay Resort however, is situated further away from the city and one needs to take their shuttle into town. If one's looking to get away from busy daily life and just relax, than I'd say the diamond bay is good... however, the staff is not as well trained, neither in hotel and F&B skills, nor in English. But it's a beautiful spot to relax in and not too expensive.
And to just add a little extra to our luxurius time in Nha Trang; some time at the Crazy Kim Spa!^^
