We had decided to fly down to Nha Trang after the Halong Bay and made a quick stop over in Hanoi again. Our receptionist was happy to see us back and had arranged for us to be upgraded into their finest suit for our last night in Hanoi.
We fell into bed, for the next day was to be a busy one.
I had decided we needed to meet up with Nghia in the morning and I absolutely wanted to visit the Museum of Ethnology since we had decided that to go up in the Sapa region would be just one to many long travels.
The Sapa region is situated more than 10 hours from Hanoi, and the most interesting thing to see would be the local minorities. The Museum of Ethnology would still give us a hint of what we were missing out on.
Since my calculations were a bit too short of time, we had to do the Museum in 30 minutes, and were basically running around and just trying to snap up as much information as possible as quickly as possible, we were however happy to have gone there in the end. The museum is very interesting and well presented.
We met up with Nghia who took us to his travel agency. Since his tour at the Halong Bay had been such a success we had decided to ask him to organize a 10 days tour in the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam and also a trip to the famous Ankor Wat, we were hoping to get the program done before leaving for Nha Trang... we got it at our arrival... close enough.^^
