Ho Chi Minh can be resumed very quickly; we arrived, we had Pho, went for a stroll to the Opera house, went to bed and were off early next morning to Vinh. ^^

Before leaving Marrakesh for Vietnam, we received some bad news; our friend's uncle just died and we're to be buried in Vietnam on August 3rd-5th. We therefore decided to make a rather quick stop in Ho Chi Minh and join our friend and try to be of some support... we later discovered that several hundreds of people assisted his funeral, so we felt more like having crashed the funeral than actually helping out, but no one but us seemed to notice this fact! ^^

Here's a simplified map of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh, or Saigon (until 1975) is one of the two biggest cities in Vietnam and is located in the southern part of the country, the capital, Hanoi, is in the northern part.
