When I was in Hotel school in Paris, they taught us how to slice and serve different types of fruits to guests. Since I've never ever thought of getting a waitress position in a Michelin starred restaurant I never saw the interest in these tasks, but maybe it was my Korean genes making me love cutting fruits in impossible ways.
Unfortunately I didn't get to show off my skills at the final exams, but still today I love showing off now and then cutting fruit.
I found a totally new way of slicing apples today; the Rabbit way. This technique is mostly used to slice apples for Bento, so we could say this is my first ever lesson in preparing Bento As soon as I find an apple I'll show you how it went!^^
