If you're in France tonight, then there's something much more interesting than the celebration of the Bastille Day; le Bal des Pompiers (Firemen's Ball). Every year on the nights of July 13th and 14th, the firemen of France open up their fire stations to the public and throw a huge party with DJ, live music, drinks and, of course, Firemen!^^
I still remember my first summer in Paris, discovering this French tradition, with an entrance fee of around 5€ (one drink included). Well I'm not going into details, but it was a great evening and a lot of fun.
As you can imagine though, there's lots of people wanting to go, so make sure you're out early to avoid queuing.
