I just realized after some serious reflexion that the Koreans have two ways of counting; native Korean and Sino Korean.
It all started out with me being curious about some grammar rules while taking my first lesson through Rosetta Stone (I am just such a grammar freak), and found Luke Park's Korean grammar guide.
Luke Park would teach you the native Korean way of counting. A couple of lessons later Rosetta Stone started to teach me the Sino counting system.
Have you already heard about a language that uses two different counting systems before? I got completely lost and confused, and I must admit I still haven't figured out when to use which system... a mystery still to be solved. I'll keep you posted.^^
